Description

Did this Winter feel like it took forever to end!?! Well it's finally over so let's celebrate the coming of Sprummer (yes, that's intentional) with another shindig! As always, we're hosting just down the street on Bayview and Belsize and we've thought of everything! For the low price of $40 per person you get professional servers, comfy couches, awesome music and an open bar (servers reserve the right to refuse serving (at their sole discretion) alcohol to you if they feel you've had too much and will encourage you to have a soft drink or water. This event is meant to be fun and to celebrate the end of Winter so please drink responsibly and don't give staff a hard time). If you're not a drinker and you don't intend on drinking ANY alcohol please contact us and we'll see what we can do with respect to an alternate wristband for you..

All profits raised by this event are will be donated to the Maurice Cody Spring Fair.

DJ's for the night include:

Alawiscious (Al) Melkonian & Casper the Friendly Host!

FAQs

Is this an open event for anyone to attend?

NO, this is not a public event. This is an event to friends in our community. You need to be a member of the community around our school or a friend of a friend. If you can't be confirmed through an affiliation you'll be refunded and refused entry. There will be security at entrances and exits. This may seem a little intense but this a closed event to our friends and NOT open to the public.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

YES, this is an ADULT event only. Bring your ID to the event. When you're confirmed at the door by security you'll receive a wristband. If you don't have a wristband you'll be refused entry. If someone is found inside the event without a wristband then they will be removed by Security.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

WALK, TAXI or UBER. This is in our neighbourhood so you can walk. DO NOT DRIVE - parking is not available. If you intend to drink alcohol DO NOT DRIVE.

What can I bring to the event?

Nothing except yourselves and your positive attitude and your ID. If you're not a dancer that's ok there's plenty of quiet corners for you to sit and chill. If it's cold and you bring a coat we'll have self-serve coat racks. Don't bring your own alcohol or mix. This is strictly enforced under a Special Occaision Permit issued by the LCBO. Last year it got quite hot so if it's warm that day then dress for hot weather and drink plenty of water! Where comfy shoes with rubber soles - they're better for dancing and better for gripping in case something get spilled on the floor. Please don't bring purses or anything of value - we are NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.

Is this a fundraiser?

YES. The price of your ticket covers all the expenses to run this event as well as light snacks and beverages. All profits generated by this event will go to Maurice Cody. We have lots of chips at the beginning of the event and hamburgers come out at 11 pm. Be sure to eat a proper dinner before coming.
